Geezers. I have deep throat a smoked sausage before (ip2) to prove condoms don't taste bad, it just feels that way. I have blown blood vessels before dealing with kids being ignorant and even some parents acting out to assume their children are not sexual active. They repeatedly use selfish means and put themselves at risk or put others at risk by not revealing their complicated health and sexual history. As most of my readers know, one of the biggest issues I will queen out and growl about simultaneously, is people having unsafe sexual practices no matter the gender, or the orientation, or the amount of partners.
GOD DAMN IT ALL, GET TESTED!!
Part of the reason I have not been blogging lately is that I have been dealing with three more of my kids testing positive, and another having a pretty good scare. Two of these were a failure to disclose, one was a pregnancy due to a condom failure because someone forgot to hold the tip when rolling down to the tune of "Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory Of The Coming Of The LORD!". Then on top of it all, when are people going to learn that gonorrhea can transfer during oral sex as well?
My issue with Governor Sarah Palin
I think that is the biggest issue I have with the perceived/reported hypocrisy by Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin and her stances on abstinence only education, because it has been proven categorically not to work (still needs cited) even within her own family.
Ben Patrick Johnson (MySpace) former host of Life On The Left Coast has started an internet campaign suggesting that people should "make a small donation to Planned Parenthood in her name you can do so for as little as $5! And here's the fun part: when you do it in her name, they'll send her a lovely card telling her that the donation is in her honor." The address of record that you should list is McCain for President, 1235 S. Clark Street, 1st Floor, Arlington, VA 22202.
EDITOR'S UPDATE: (24 September 2008) Abortion is a major issue for me, being pro life and yet thankful that it is legal, and for many of my readers whether based on religious practices, spiritual paths, and philosophical traditions or political positions. I have spent several days on the phone with different departments of Planned Parenthood, to make sure that no money is siphoned to abortion services; all money donated through this link in honor of Governor Sarah Palin will go to the General Operating Fund only.
First things first: This is NOT just about HIV/AIDS!
If your body or immune system has been compromised in the past, no matter what the disease or virus or infection or infestation, your partners from the past, now, and in the future have every right to know. It is your responsibility to inform them about it, regardless of any perceived or actual discrimination. Have enough respect for your own, to respect them in very delicate and intimate scenarios, and stop for a moment, and make sure that they understand fully. While that doesn't eliminate casual sex entirely it does slow down the mentality of "you've gotta fuck them before you date them" or "licking the batter off the beater before the brownie bakes", amongst other cute little sayings that we have developed over the years.
No offense those sayings are all desperate attempts at rationalization for not forming true relationships and friendships, with or without benefits. There are other ways to get off without giving someone else a nightmare! I have long been an advocate for restoring a sense of COURTING to the GLBT Community. I think it is time for another article on Courting Rituals.
It just goes to show that sex is not the end result of making love; and the ultimate test of any relationship, is whether or not you have learned to make love with your partners (or friends) without having sex. That is how marriages survive over thirty years through some pretty rocky shit.
One of the ways to have a meaningful sexual experience without penetration besides mutual masturbation is frottage. Frottage is a mutual eroticism, usually referred to as dry humping whether naked or clothed. There is actually a very strong movement in the Gay Community towards frottage and they advocate the elimination of anal intercourse as a normal practice within the GLBT mindset. Frottage is one way that a lot of gay guys, and some straight guys even that I know, have developed a multifaceted underwear fetish. Some straight guys I know personally will express their affection for another male friend by frottage with no one questioning their intent or orientation, as explained pretty well by Erik Piepenburg in the March 2005 issue of OUT.com's print magazine.
Karen Rodgers towards the end of her 2003 article celebrating frottage as a means to having great sex outdoors OK! Rub it in; why don’t you? in Capital Xtra, an Ontario, Canada based Queer News Group reminds readers that "all the rules of safety and consideration still apply. If you’re mixing fluids, use a rubber."
SAFE SEX IS HOT SEX CAMPAIGN
F6 proudly has been promoting Chi Chi LaRue's Campaign, Safe Sex Is Hot Sex, since its inception earlier this year. Back in July there was an additional video put out for this campaign with Johnny Hazzard and this movement has spawned an additional campaign by several adult film performers entitled How Do I Roll?
You can watch all of these videos on this one player above. It takes approximately eleven minutes to watch all four. Whether you agree with porn or not, it is a part of Our Community. Fortunately we have directors like Chi Chi, Michael Lucas, and social networking sites DList, ManHunt, as well as companies like Titan Media, among many others who are taking a stand where it counts, their pocketbook and the caliber of actors/performers that they hire. Let's also not forget to mention IN THE MOMENT a web based Gay Soap Opera/After School Special that has dealt with this subject matter in a very unique and telling manner.
Is your life really worth the risk?
Can you put a price tag on one night of careless sexual gratification? Can you sell away your integrity and respect? Unfortunately the answer is yes, but is two thousand dollars for four hours worth the heartache of a lifetime cut short and lost friendships and future lovers because just once you didn't use a condom? My hope is that your answer is,
I will continue to support the message of condom usage, especially within the GLBT Community, in private and public venues. These campaigns are not just for the adult film industry they are for the education of all in the GLBT Community.
As a matter of editorial policy F6 does not use frontal nude pictures without extreme artistic intent or to illustrate a specific text or content explanation. Even though I would have the leeway to consider applying those loopholes to this post my hope was to prove strongly a pointe and pray that my passion speaks more than a picture of condom on a turgid cock attached to one or more hot bois playing around with each other.
EDITOR'S UPDATE: (01 October 2008)
Cashing In on a G.O.P. Star by Julie BosmanThe postcards will be mailed out sometime in the next week. John McCain has no comment.
THE NEW YORK TIMES 26 September 2008
.... So far, the scheme seems to be getting a strong response. As of Friday, Planned Parenthood had taken in $802,678 in donations from 31,313 people, said a spokesman for the organization, Tait Sye. More than two-thirds of the individuals are first-time donors to Planned Parenthood, Mr. Sye said, and money came in from all 50 states.... Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, called the response "phenomenal," and said she wanted to personally thank the "tens of thousands of individuals who responded to this call to action."
