F6 Command & Ops: Taking time out of your busy life to break into laughter 3x/wk by visiting a distant Outpost on 1 1/2 lane electronic gravel road!

Let's take a moment to uncover how well we did this past year.

One of the things that any web forum must do to have credibility in this day and age, is have at minimum a Site Meter. This allows other Blog Editors or Webmasters and Marketing people to see if your blog is worth linking to their web resource or if they wish to advertise or cross link to you and vice versa.

By reading this blog and others you can find out what is going on in the world or around you. If the blogger is worth their weight in Ferengi gold pressed latinum, then you will also learn how to make a difference in this world and make life better for the next generation.

Hopefully you will also find a way to laugh about it. If you must laugh at us, instead of laughing with us, that is okay too. Laughing is a good thing. Some say it is the best medicine. I would assert, it is the best way to shove the truth down someones throat while making them believe they thought the same way the whole time. Bad humour is why even the best preachers rely on a captive audience for fifteen to forty five minutes on a Wednesday and Saturday evening or Sunday morning services.

This is why I try to make you groan, either in bliss or agony at least once per post, while reading F6. This means that you will think for yourself and just take me at face value, all sarcasm, and commentary aside, even though I have been proven correct several times over.

Over the last couple of days, I have been trying to catch up on certain managerial tasks (which it should have been done already but with my computation machine taking a flying leap into a pile of flaming.....) like this end of year review for 2008.
Here are the basic stats as we have computed them so far:

For the last five months we have been in the top 20 on BNN's Influence Index for Indiana consistently. Over the last year, F6 missed our goal of 14 posts per month, four times. We were ten short for the entire year. Anyone that knows me for a minimum of a year will soon find out I am numerically and homo phonically dyslexic. I can still balance a check book, sometimes; but give me complicated math or statistics, and you will soon figure out that any numbers I try to compute are going to need checked by at least three other people, to find out what eye did wrong. However based on the law of averages, and recognizing that somewhere in my brain, F6's Anniversary period from August to September were joined together in the averages count, we still maintained an average of 14.36 posts per month at eleven months of publication. It made cents to me.

So in actuality what are you saying?

The total results factor in both time and reality. We missed the mark a third of the time. We still met the mark when all circumstances were taken into account.

Wait a minute, that sounds like U. S. Government Accountability Standards at practice here.

Well F6 is a social and political commentary; if it works for them, it can work for me too, lol!....moving on....

Sometime in March, F6 finally did add Site Meter widget to the Main Site and the Links Page. Since that time until the beginning week of this year here are the stats on visitors this year, followed by an average for nine months, and Site Meter's projection by Month:

F6 MAIN:Ttl: 37,887 A/M 4209.66 Prj A/M 3,517
F6 LINK:Ttl: 3,181 A/M 353.44 Prj A/M 719
Total of both: 41,068 A/M 4563.1 Prj A/M 4,236

Now before anyone panics, I don't actually accept advertising revenue as a general rule, it would take away from my objectivity in this forum. I do however believe strongly in the barter system and fair trade forms of market economics, and capitalism.

What would be really awesome is that, if even ten percent of my monthly readers took note when I do promote something because I find it intriguing and cool, and you then decide to try it out, could you also tell the company you heard about them from F6, so maybe I could get thrown a bone or three for the experience, pretty please. Better yet, also leave a comment, so I can receive some feedback too, thank you.

I also encourage non tax deductible donations through the PayPal link somewhere on the left to further the work of equality and liberty of F6, OLRM, and three other organizations I serve with in the local area. We currently have three types of ad banners sizes and varied locations available and you can contact me via the information on the bottom of The Disclaimers & Copyrights Page for more information.

On a last note, the preliminary test of going to three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday), while not quite getting out of the Shipyard with out loosing the main support beam in the process, went better than expected. So our goal for this year is twenty posts per month.

I thank you all for enjoying this adventure and beseech to you and yours, Blessings Along The Journey this year!

For All The Saints Who From Their Labour Rest.... and other scary stories to begin the new Church Year.

Just to clarify for those whom are unaware, there is a strong movement in the Independent Sacramental Movement to achieve a more accurate and universal Liturgical Calendar.

One of the consensuses among the Bishops and other clergy involved in this process, is to restore the beginning of the Church Year to the Solemnity of All Saints (it is also the Pagan New Year or Sabbath of Samhain) and to restore the understanding behind the 3 Days (from Oct 31-Nov 2nd) of the whole Mystical Body and Bride Of Christ (militant, suffering and triumphant, (as clarified by Apostolic Patriarch Pius XII of Rome), which is the fullness of the Communion of Saints in personal prayer, liturgical life, and celebration of the Sacraments. I hope that at least helps explain the basic idea.

If you know anything about this blog brace yourself for sacrilege in its finest form. People wonder why Christians get such a bad wrap when they get a bur up their ass or their undies in a twist. This should give us all a strong pause as we celebrated another joint holy day with our Pagan brothers and sisters.

People complain when I say "the Holy Spirit squirreled Jesus up into the Virgin Mary's womb". Who knew Spook could do enemas as well? I hope she didnt hit her face to hard when she "fell out under the Holy Ghost"!

.... It doesnt end there, some Christian fundie went ballistic at a local coffee shop and tried to exorcise some more demons out of a Mexican teenager and threatened him to go back to Mexico.....lol. (Source)

Lastly as the Young Turks pointe out, What part of Thou Shalt Not did Christians forget the part about not worshiping the golden calf when praying for God to restore or take over our economy... just watch it is hillarious.... The better question to ask is which Jewish or Christian banking mogul thought it was a good idea to put a metalic Pagan Deity idol in front of the Stock Exchange? Maybe the one who realized that this Country is in fact not a Christian nation.

When the people became aware of Moses' delay in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said to him, "Come, make us a god who will be our leader; as for the man Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has happened to him." Aaron replied, "Have your wives and sons and daughters take off the golden earrings they are wearing, and bring them to me."

(NOTE: Even under Jewish law an earing or amulet, similar to the ones Bajorans wear on ST: DS9 was a sign of permenant ownership by or grafting into a family unit. So in fact the symbolism of breaking the bonds of slavery is true the issue was who was getting the credit for doing so by Aaron, the High Priest)

So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron, who accepted their offering, and fashioning this gold with a graving tool, made a molten calf. Then they cried out, "This is your God, O Israel, who brought you out of the land of Egypt."

On seeing this, Aaron built an altar before the calf and proclaimed, "Tomorrow is a feast of the LORD." Early the next day the people offered holocausts and brought peace offerings. Then they sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to revel.

With that, the LORD said to Moses, "Go down at once to your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, for they have become depraved. They have soon turned aside from the way I pointed out to them, making for themselves a molten calf and worshiping it, sacrificing to it and crying out, 'This is your God, O Israel, who brought you out of the land of Egypt!' I see how stiff-necked this people is," continued the LORD to Moses. "Let me alone, then, that my wrath may blaze up against them to consume them. Then I will make of you a great nation."

But Moses implored the LORD, his God, saying, "Why, O LORD, should your wrath blaze up against your own people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt with such great power and with so strong a hand? Why should the Egyptians say, 'With evil intent he brought them out, that he might kill them in the mountains and exterminate them from the face of the earth'? Let your blazing wrath die down; relent in punishing your people. Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, and how you swore to them by your own self, saying, 'I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky; and all this land that I promised, I will give your descendants as their perpetual heritage.'"

So the LORD relented in the punishment he had threatened to inflict on his people.

Book of Exodus 32:1-15 New American Bible courtesy of the USCCB

Since I know that, Zachary Denver (You Tube), would say something similar, I am in good company. The moral of the story is not about molding gold and silver into an idol and building an altar and offering up holocausts; but that, if you blow enough smoke up Gods ass, He wont smite you down for failing to give Him proper credit for breaking you free and leaving you stranded for a really long ass time in a camels litter box.

Talk about convenient interpretations, crazy Christians I tell you. Its okay for them to worship a golden bull, but for me to love other men, I'm the one they call a heathen/heretic. Who forgot to devour the Word of God today? Not me I celebrated two Divine Liturgies. I hope you all had an awesome Samhain, All Saints, and All Souls Day tomorrow!

Blessings Along The Journey.

Five Riddles To Tease Your Brain

THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST FIVE RIDDLES I HAVE SEEN! THEY SHARPEN YOUR BRAIN AND STALLS ALZHEIMER'S FOR YEARS!

1. A serial child molester is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But ten minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away ?

4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday?

5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

Begin the week with laughter: Horses Races & Rugby Bois

One day while he was at the track playing the ponies and all but losing his shirt, Mitch noticed a priest who stepped out onto the track and blessed the forehead of one of the horses lining up for the 4th race. Lo and behold, that horse - a very long shot - won the race.

Before the next race, as the horses began lining up, Mitch watched with Interest the old priest step onto the track. Sure enough, as the 5th race horses came to the starting gate the priest made a blessing on the forehead of one of the horses.
Mitch made a beeline for a betting window and placed a small bet on the horse. Again, even though it was another long shot, the horse the priest had blessed won the race.

Mitch collected his winnings, and anxiously waited to see which horse the priest would bless for the 6th race. The priest again blessed a
horse. Mitch bet big on it, and it won. Mitch was elated. As the races continued the priest kept blessing long shot horses, and each one ended up coming in first. Bye and bye, Mitch was pulling in some serious money.

By the last race, he knew his wildest dreams were going to come true. He made a quick dash to the ATM, withdrew all his savings, and awaited the priest's blessing that would tell him which horse to bet on.
True to his pattern, the priest stepped onto the track for the last race and blessed the forehead of an old nag t hat was the longest shot of the day. Mitch also observed the priest blessing the eyes, ears, and hooves of the old nag. Mitch knew he had a winner and bet every cent he owned on the old nag.

He then watched dumbfounded as the old nag come in dead last. Mitch, in a state of shock, made his way down to the track area where the priest was. Confronting the old priest he demanded, 'Father! What happened? All day long you blessed horses and they all won. Then in the last race, the horse you blessed lost by a Kentucky mile. Now, thanks to you I've lost every cent of my savings - all of it!'.

The priest nodded wisely and with sympathy. 'Son,' he said, 'that's the problem with our separated brethren, you can't tell the difference between a simple blessing and last rites!!'

In other news from Andy over @ Towleroad,
check out this commercial for the Jawbone Bluetooth headset. It claims to eliminate outside noise from your phone call. How it does so is the interesting part. Can't think of a better way to shut up a loud rugby team.

Which leads to the final part of this post, as previously mentioned, that is in regards to a regular feature of F6: SUPPORT THREE RIVERS ATHLETICS, which F6 also has a link section for on the bottom before the gay videos section. There our readers will find a list of all the different sports teams and athletic associations in the Fort Wayne area.

Our own Fort Wayne Rugby Club had its annual Leather Ball on Groundhog Day @ Columbia Street West. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen memory lapse,
F6's Editor forgot to report on it, so sorry. The schedule for next season hasn't been posted yet so if you want to find out more information contact Jeremy Steele @ 260-438-7776 or email him at jsteele@omnisource.com, to find out how you can participate in this grueling but very fun sport.

On a side note, the International Gay Rugby Association & Board (IGRAB!) Catchy acronym, btw! has a website. Indiana had two gay rugby teams but
F6 cant find the websites at the moment. As soon as F6 does find it, the information will be posted here. If anyone knows what they are please leave a comment.

The Chicago Dragons are the closest team
F6 can find at this time.

Should Old Aquaintance Be Foregone: End of Year Humor

David's Shave n Share

One weekend, Dave is in the bathroom shaving when the kid he hired to mow his lawn, a local young adult named Bubba, comes in to pee. Dave slyly looks over and is shocked at how immensely endowed Bubba is. He can't help himself, and asks Bubba what his secret is.

"Well," says Bubba, "every night before I climb into bed with a girl, I whack my penis on the bedpost three times. It works, and it sure impresses the girls!"

Dave was excited at this easy suggestion and decided to try it that very night. So before climbing into bed with his partner Mike, he took out his penis and whacked it three times on the bedpost. Mike, half-asleep, said, "Bubba? Is that you?"

REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-ass man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Getting Even With The Pussy And The Rodent Age Of The Internet

One December day we found an old straggly cat at our door.
She was a sorry sight Starving, dirty, smelled terrible, skinny,
and hair all matted down. We felt sorry for her so we put her
in a carrier and took her to the vet. We didn't know what to
call her so we named her "Pussycat."

The vet decided to keep her for a day or so. He said he would
let us know when we could come and get her. My husband (the
complainer) said, "OK, but don't forget to wash her, she stinks."
He reminded the vet that it was his WIFE (me) that wanted the
dirty cat, not him. My husband and my Vet don't see eye to eye.

The vet calls my husband 'El-Cheap-O', and my husband calls the
vet El-Charge-O'. They love to hate each other and constantly
'snipe' at one another, with my husband getting in the last word
on this particular occasion.

The next day my husband had an appointment with his doctor,
who is located in the same building, next door to the vet. The MD's
waiting room and office was full of people waiting to see the
doctor. A side door opened and the vet leaned in - he
had obviously seen my husband arrive.

He looked straight at my husband and in a loud voice said,
"Your wife's pussy doesn't stink any more. We washed and shaved it,
and now she smells like a rose. Oh, and, by the way, I think she's
Pregnant. God only knows who the father is!" Then he closed the door.

Now THAT, my friends, is getting even!

do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well:
'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and
'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

give medals 4 killing men but 4 loving men they wish you were dead?
thanks to the sacrifice of many the scourge of Dont Ask Dont Tell in the land of the free and home of the brave will be gone by the end of June!!!!
