The Dame Empress, Chi Chi LaRue, owner of Rascal Videos and Channel 1 Releasing and others, has issued a new Public Service Announcement and web page regarding certain sexual practices within the gay adult film industry and its effects on the gay and lesbian community as a whole. It is worth a look at and you can view the video off of the web page or at the bottom of F6's page.

According to Gay Porn Blog's Archive for April 2004:

TITAN Media and Man Play Productions started a huge controversy when they went public with their own prohibition on Performers/Actors whose persona or characters names publicly performed in bareback sex scenes or who had been compromised by high risk environment and activities within the gay adult film industry. Although at the time they limited their restriction to certain criteria but the broadcast of the policy in itself stirred up enough controversy that nothing got settled by the gay adult film industry as a whole.

This makes Chi-Chi's tirade at the awards show earlier even more necessary as well as this public service alert even more timely. Maybe soon we will all realize nothing is worth giving up someone's life, even sex or money. It's time for the Adult Industry to police its self before the government does and screws up everything including our liberty to celebrate queer love.
