SOCE headlines KUNT CRUSADERS show INDY, Friday @ ZONIE'S CLOSET

He is SOCE, the Elemental Wizard he is a Jewish, Gay, White MC. A Yale graduate computer programmer on Wall Street by day... Level 27 Hip Hop Spellcaster at night. Even with three CDs out on the market Im In My Own World, Dream de la Dream, The Lemonade Incident, and an active tour and work schedule SOCE does live shows throughout NYC in not only hipster bars and clubs, but also at high schools, colleges, theaters, museums, community centers and synagogues. Additionally, he co-hosts a math bee once a month with comedian Jennifer Dziura at Chelsea Market, and he does interviews and show reviews for NYC comedy blog The Apiary.

The Lemonade Incident has the controversial tracks called Im So Gay and Sucking Dick, as discussed in the October 2005 issue of OUT Magazine (page 35), "everybody metaphorically has to suck a little dick now and then to get along in this world", you can read the rest of it here. If you've ever had to struggle, been in love, enjoyed a good role-playing game, or just wanted to experience rap music where you can actually relate to every word spoken, SOCE'S music is for you!

This is his second show and He is excited to be back!!! It is hosted by The KUNT Crusaders, a group of women whom are actively bringing GLBT Musicians and artist to the local area. The show which will be opened @ 8 PM by local spinner DJ Fate at Zonie's Closet @ 1440 East Washington in Indianapolis this Friday the 14th. So come on, what are you waiting for? UPDATE: On the 15th SOCE will be performing for free @ 5p.m. in 609 East Mulberry Street, Bloomington, Illinois during a book signing for his friend Matthew Fish's (MySpace) (You Tube) newest release Fireflies in Winter and Softland as a combined book which you may purchase @ Amazon for 19 dollars.

"When I grow up, mom and dad, I want to be a.... HOUSEWIFE!" New music video by JAY BRANNAN premieres!!!

Hi y'all. I am officially turning F6 over to Jay Brannan for this unscheduled Friday post. Housewife, the second song Jay ever wrote, now has its own spankingly awesome music video. If I knew how to gank the codes, I would have it up here in a half a heart beat!! Once again Caleb Jehl from TRH is announcing a multi concert event with the Matt Kelty for Mayor Campaign financing and hosting, at the Kelty Household 2424 Florida Drive (just one block north of East State Boulevard). We give Kudos to them for being cool... and not censoring the local youth and young adults voices from the conversation of our city's future.

There is a $2 donation requested for touring bands. Coming to us all the way from Chicago is REDBEAR and from Louisville, Kentucky we welcome EAT THIS MCKINLEY joining such local artists as ALABASTER FOX, SANKOFA, ALLISON DEMAREE, and CALEB JEHL AND AMY.
