"The experience of the United States is a happy disproof of the error so long rooted in the unenlightened minds of well-meaning Christians, as well as in the corrupt hearts of persecuting usurpers, that without a legal incorporation of religious and civil polity, neither could be supported."
"A mutual independence is found most friendly to practical religion, to social harmony, and to political prosperity."

Just wondering -- where is your church is located?
I operate an Apostolic Service Ministry and so therefore don't have a Church. I support the churches that already exist and step in the gap for the people that can not for what ever reason be served by the corporate Church structure. I also celebrate the sacraments in the home of certain congregation members reoccurring monthly. The Reformed tradition does not force weekly Church services for its people, which is similar to the Amish traditional services of twice a month. I am available by appointment if you need to talk 260-312-2200.
If you are looking for a Church Community, may I suggest The Community Of The Cross. A link to their webpage is under the links on the left side of the blog and at the bottom of Our Lady Rejoice Ministries main webpage www.ourladyrejoice.com
Also I can recommend Plymouth Congregational Church they have both Traditional and Contemporary Services.
